If you grow herbs in your garden and you want to harvest them for later use then you might need to know some things about how to do it properly. The flavor of herbs may vary according to the season, the growing conditions and even to the time of the day. The levels of the essentials oils vary with light and temperature so is important to know when is the right time to harvest your herbs to make sure that the oil levels are at their peak.

Best time to harvest your herbs is on a fine day, in the morning, when they are still full of moisture, before the hot sun will evaporate the essential oils, but after the dew has dried off.
