Foliage plants

Those plants are that kind of plants that usually don't flower, and even if they do their flower are not decorative. Their foliage is the one that is decorative. Many of them have leaves in strange shapes or vivid colors of red, pink, yellow combined with green, that delight our eyes.

Most of those plants need full light in order to keep their vivid colors in maximum shape. They are also having the advantage of a longer life than the flowering plants. The contrast of the colors makes a nice view and bring optimism into a room. Even the ones that have only green leaves are spectacular by their shapes, or by dimensions.

The huge number of color and shades combinations and the patterns that they create on the leaves  makes those kind of plants as decorative as flowering plants. The nature was helped in this order by the horticulturists that keep finding new and more special combinations, sophisticated patterns to bring those plants into our attention.

Many of them don't need an extremely special attention, but the ones with glossy leaves enjoy a warm shower in the hot days of summer, others enjoy some extra food or a bit more light than others, nothing that we can't offer them as long as we care for them.

So all you have to do is trying to see their beauty even if they don't flower.
